Position: Behavioral Health Technician (BHT)-direct care worker
Available: Full-time and part-time positions available at Red Lion, PA location
Job Description: Come play and teach social skills to children and adolescents with autism at a specialized autism center! The treatment takes place on-site and in the community with a large variety of amenities available to enhance the playful atmosphere. The position allows a flexible part or full time schedule that works for teachers, college students, stay home mothers, and more. The position requires the ability to work at least two evenings or days a week and the opportunity to increase hours during our full day summer program. We can offer up to 25 hours a week part-time or 37.5 hours a week full-time.
Qualifications: Applicants that provide BHT services shall meet one of the following:
*Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the provision of behavioral health services
*Have a certification as a BCaBA
*Have certification as an RBT
*Have a certification as a BCAT
*Have a High School Diploma or the equivalent and have completed a 40-hour training covering the RBT task list as evidenced by a certification that includes the name of the responsible trainer, who is certified as a BCBA or BCaBA
BHT Training program is available for eligible candidates new to the behavioral health field with a High School Diploma without the above qualifications, inquire about these opportunities to learn more.
Job Requirements: The position requires three clearances (Pennsylvania ChildLine Clearance, PA State Police Clearance, and FBI Fingerprint Check). Mandated Reporting training and a sealed college transcript are also required. If applicants don’t already have these clearances, the agency can provide instructions for how to apply for them.
