Functional Family Therapist
Functional Family Therapist with the opportunity for also providing School Based Outpatient Therapy
Job Type: Full-time
Job Description: The Functional Family Therapy program is looking for therapists who are interested in serving families who live in Dauphin, Cumberland, and York counties. FFT is an intensive, in-home, evidenced-based, family therapy program designed to meet the needs of children and adolescents (ages 10-18) and their families. Our client families are typically “at risk” for the youth to be placed outside of the home due to externalizing behaviors. FFT Therapists are trained in an internationally recognized and effective treatment model of family therapy. Therapists participate in a highly interactive supervision/team model and attend specialized training to develop clinical model skills. This is a mobile position that requires a flexible schedule and willingness to work evenings.
Requirements: Applicants must have a Master degree in psychology, counseling, social work or a related mental health field. Two years experience working with children and adolescents is required. Experience working across a variety of settings, including school and home is preferable. Interested candidates that are fluent in Spanish are encouraged to apply. The position requires three clearances (Pennsylvania Childline Clearance, PA State Police Clearance, and FBI Background Check). Training in Mandated Child Abuse Reporting is also required. If applicants don’t already have these clearances, the agency can provide instructions for how to apply for them.
Compensation includes a competitive salary scale as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
Instructions: Please send cover letter and resume to Kaye Davis.
Location(s): Dauphin, Cumberland, York Counties
