Qualifications: High school diploma. Previous experience preferred. The position requires three clearances (Pennsylvania Childline Clearance, PA State Police Clearance, and FBI Fingerprint Check). Mandated Reporting training is also required. If applicants don’t already have these clearances, the agency can provide instructions for how to apply for them.
Job Requirements: Primary job duties include: obtaining insurance information and demographic information from potential/current clients, calling insurance companies to obtain benefit details, scheduling appointments with appropriate therapists based on needs and insurance, following up with voicemail and email messages and troubleshooting to resolve any issues that may arise. This part-time position is located at the Frederick Street, Hanover office. Good organizational and communication skills are required. Must be able to work in a fast paced, high call volume setting. Knowledge and experience with basic office software (Word and Excel), electronic medical records, and/or insurance verification are preferred.
