Social Rehabilitation Program Specialist – Fulltime

This is a psychosocial rehabilitation program designed to provide an educational, recreational, and recovery- based supportive environment for the enrichment and development of adults with mental health concerns.


Any combination of experience and education equivalent to an Associate of Arts Degree in a human service field. Valid driver’s license and a good driving record are required. Must be able to work on a computer and electronic medical record. A belief in and commitment to the principles of psychosocial rehabilitation and client empowerment are mandatory.

Job Requirements:

Fulltime position to support individuals in building skills, accessing supports, structuring their leisure time, and becoming fully integrated into the community of their choice. The position facilitates educational, recreational, recovery, and socialization groups, meets with clients individually to identify goals in working towards recovery, and participates in providing a supportive environment. The ideal candidate has experience working with clients in a group setting, experience with developing goal plans and working with someone towards recovery, and excellent communication skills; he/she also believes in recovery, empowerment, and “meeting individuals where they are.” Position is Monday thru Friday from 8:00 – 3:30. Hourly pay is dependent upon experience. Position will begin immediately. This position is eligible for an educational loan forgiveness program.
