Summer Therapeutic Activities Program (STAP)
The Summer Therapeutic Activities Program (STAP) is a five-week therapeutic summer camp program designed to help children and adolescents transition to a lower level of care, maintain progress made in other services, or practice skills in a supportive environment.
Structured Therapeutic Enhanced Programming for Success (STEPS)
Structured Therapeutic Enhanced Programming for Success (STEPS) is offered to students within Central Dauphin School District. This program has a therapist integrated into a collaborative classroom setting, providing group, individual, and family therapy on an ongoing basis. The therapist is present all day in the classroom to provide behavioral support and emotional support as needed.
School-Based Therapy Services
School-Based Therapy Services include programs that offer students in five school districts within the greater Harrisburg area an opportunity to meet with therapists either on an outpatient basis, where students have weekly appointments in an office setting, or on a more integrated basis, where the therapist works as part of a therapeutic emotional support or autism support classroom. Group therapy, individual therapy, and behavioral support are provided on a regular basis throughout the school year.
For more information about STAP, STEPS, or School-Based Therapy Services, please contact Cori Reed at (717) 632-4900, ext. 1930.
