Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Individual Plans and directs all aspects of the company’s operations. The COO also is responsible for the short and long term profitability and growth of the company.

  • Plans and directs all aspects of the company’s operational policies, objectives, and initiatives.
  • Develops policies and procedures for operational processes in order to ensure optimization and compliance with established standards and regulations.
  • Represents the organization in its relationships with major customers, suppliers, competitors, government agencies, professional societies, and similar groups.
  • Develops a sound short – and long- range plan for the organization.
  • Ensures the adequacy and soundness of the organization’s financial structure and reviews projections of working capital requirements. Negotiates and otherwise arranges for any outside financing that may be indicated.

Qualifications:
Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Health Care Administration, Public Administration or Human Services. Master’s degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in a top management position in the human service or healthcare industry.
  • Extensive experience in conducting meetings, contracting and strategic planning and development.
  • Previous management experience including responsibilities for hiring, training, assigning work and managing performance of staff.

Licensed OP Therapist with Art Therapy Certification

Substance Use Treatment

Job Description: Position involves providing counseling services to a wide variety of clients with substance use disorders (SUD). The ideal candidate will have had experience in treating SUD disorders and is able to provide dual services. It is also important that the individual have the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with a wide range of persons, ages, and functioning level and be to evaluate a clinical picture of each client based on presenting problem, psychosocial history, and contributing factors to come up with a course of treatment. Case Manager – Harrisburg

The Functional Family Therapy program has a full-time opening for a case manager who will be primarily located out of our Harrisburg office, but may travel to other TrueNorth Wellness office locations. Functional Family Therapy is an evidenced-based program designed to meet the needs of children and adolescents (ages 10-18) and their families. Our clients are typically “at risk” for out of home placements including detention, foster care or in-patient hospitalization.  FFT currently serves 7 counties. FFT case managers are responsible for coordinating the flow of clienUfamily cases and maintaining the client charts, from referral to discharge.  Case managers are responsible for tracking all relevant information in regards to referrals and required documentation.  Case managers will collaborate closely with the program director, clinical staff, insurance companies, and other outside agencies to effectively ensure the authorization of Functional Family Therapy services.  This position requires someone who is highly organized, task oriented, and able to work independently and multi-task effectively.The appropriate candidate must also have the ability to communicate and coordinate professionally with others.

Drug and Alcohol Counselor/Therapist

Education and/or Experience/Qualifications: Must meet the requirement below: • A Master’s Degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, or nursing. Drug and Alcohol Counselor/Therapist Job Description: Position involves: • Providing counseling services to a wide variety of clients with substance use disorders (SUD). • The ideal Drug and Alcohol Therapist/ Counselor candidate will have had experience in treating SUDs and will be able to provide dual services. • Individual has the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with a wide range of persons, ages, and functioning levels • Can evaluate a clinical picture of each client based on presenting problems, psychosocial history, and contributing factors to come up with a course of treatment. • The Drug and Alcohol Therapist/Counselor will need to be able to complete assessments, progress notes, and other required paperwork through an electronic medical record.
