Qualifications: Applicants must have either:

-a Bachelor’s degree or

-an Associate’s degree/ 60 credits toward a Bachelor’s degree, with the equivalent of at least three years of full-time paid work experience in a job that involves direct contact with children or adolescents 

Job Requirements: The position requires three clearances (Pennsylvania ChildLine Clearance, PA State Police Clearance, and FBI Fingerprint Check). Mandated Reporting training and a sealed college transcript are also required.  If applicants don’t already have these clearances, the agency can provide instructions for how to apply for them.

Job Description: Position involves working with children and adolescents, ages 2-21 that have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The individual will provide group socialization therapy to clients by implementing therapy curriculum developed by a Master’s level staff. Behavioral Health Specialists work with clients to help them develop social skills and emotional intelligence through fun group activities. The treatment takes place at our facility. The position requires the ability to work at least two evenings a week from 4:00 PM–7:45 PM. We also have daytime hours available for our year round Preschool Program, which runs mornings from 8:15 to 11:45 AM, and afternoons from 12:00–3:30 PM.

We can offer up to 25 hours per week and full day hours during our Summer Program from 8:45 AM – 3:45 PM. The starting rate is $13.00/$13.50 per hour. It is a great option for college students or school system employees looking for extra employment.
