Masters degree in psychology, social work or another social science field. Experience with individuals with severe persistent mental illnesses is preferred.

Job Description:

The majority of this position is community based in York and Adams counties. Therapy is provided in the individual’s homes or other places within the community, therefore reliable transportation is necessary. The therapist will work closely with other team members to assist in supporting the individual by providing individual therapy, participating in treatment team meetings as well as attending the individual’s appointments with the team doctor.

Occasional travel outside of York/Adams counties should be expected as well. As a CORE therapist  the individual will be responsible for providing mobile therapy to adults in a variety of locations such as individual residences or in residential settings, as well as attend treatment team meetings for assigned cases and medication management appointments with the teams physician. There is an on call component to the position; however this is via phone only after hours. The team works closely with a number of outside providers so therefore the therapist will need to be able to maintain a community presence and represent TrueNorth Wellness Services professionally.
