Requirements: Education and/or Experience/Qualifications: Must Meet One Of The Requirements Below: • A Master’s Degree in a human service area • Working towards a Master’s Degree in the human service field with a BA degree in a discipline approved by DDAP • A Bachelor’s Degree in an approved area of study as outlined by DDAP with knowledge in the addictions field • Licensure in this Commonwealth as a registered nurse • Hold a CADC at the time of hire
Job Description: Position involves providing counseling services to a wide variety of clients with substance use disorders (SUD). The ideal candidate will have had experience in treating SUD disorders and is able to provide dual services. It is also important that the individual have the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with a wide range of persons, ages, and functioning level and be to evaluate a clinical picture of each client based on presenting problem, psychosocial history, and contributing factors to come up with a course of treatment. The individual will need to be able to complete assessments, progress notes, and other required paperwork though an electronic medical record. This is a part-time position. Hours are flexible, but will depend on where the need is for services.
